Aquaponics Update – June 2014

There’s definitely a lot going on with the aquaponics system, but it’s a lot of trial & error. Farmer John is still trying to figure out what works best. Meanwhile, the tilapia are growing rather quickly.

Mexico Lapbook

To hold all their papers and crafts from our study of Mexico, the kids made quick and easy lapbooks. The lapbook is made from two index folders taped together. A third index folder was cut to make pockets, which were taped to the full index folders.

Chihuly Garden & Glass

A couple weeks ago my oldest son & I took a quick trip to Seattle. I let him pick a couple places he wanted to see & I chose a couple. First on my list was seeing Chihuly Garden & Glass. It was a-ma-zing! There’s a good reason this guy is world famous.
