Bloom Day – June 2016
Another June, another great display of color. All the flowers seem to be blooming earlier this year. I’d guess my flowerbeds are nearly at there Summer prime and summer hasn’t even technically begun.

May & June are my favorite months to enjoy our flowerbeds. This May has not disappointed. The foliage is filling in and the blooms are lovely.
Spring is here and I’m loving it. The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming, and I’ve been busy checking items off my outside to-do list.
Over the next month or two I’m really hoping to get a lot done outside. This weekend is supposed to be nice. Hopefully, I can get a good start on a number of projects.
This week’s update isn’t an update on the week, but an update on our to do list. I like lists. Well, it’s not so much the list itself I like, but the crossing things off the list. So gratifying. Since the photo template I use for our weekly updates has nine spaces, I’ll list only …
For the most part, the flowerbeds are now past their prime. There are more dead or dying flowers than fresh, colorful blooms – which, is always a bummer. Although, the day lily in this title image is looking great. It is Daylily “Night Beacon.’
It’s amazing. Summer’s really here & my flowerbeds are at their peak.
Much is still blooming from May’s Bloom Day post, but there are a lot of new things, too.
