This is Moon’s 2nd freshening. She gave birth in the night and we missed it. All things looked good in the morning. I was surprised to see 3 little ones.

Wander’s sire is Tam, who is is buckskin. Wander’s dam is Willow, who is a solid cream color with random spotting and roaning.

Moon’s sire is gold with moon spots – similar to Moon. Moon’s dam is light buckskin. She also has good genetics (3*M VVEV87) by ADGA standards.

Moon had one buck and two does. All three babies are buckskin. DM1 & DM3 are very similar. But, DM3 is much darker overall than DM1. I believe DM2 is also buckskin, she just has a lot of random white patches and moon spots covering most of the buckskin pattern.

This is a total of 5 kids for Moon. Two boys & three girls.

This is Georgia’s 3rd freshening. We missed seeing the births by just a few minutes. But, as far as I could tell she did great and had no problems afterwards.

Wander’s sire is Tam, who is is buckskin. Wander’s dam is Willow, who is a solid cream color with random spotting and roaning.

We had a bit of an oopsie in the barnyard. Wander literally broke the wire fencing and ended up on the girl’s side. So this was an unplanned pairing.

Georgia’s dam is also Willow. I am not sure about the color and pattern of Georgia’s sire. Georgia is black with random spotting, roaning, and frosting.

Georgia had one buck and two does. These babies look nothing like her last two births, which had Tam for the daddy. All three of these cuties are primarily black with tons of roaning. Last year’s kids had very little roaning.

This is 7 total babies for Georgia. Four boys & three girls. All healthy and spunky.

Wander is pretty fabulous. He’s friendly and he’s beautiful. I love his roaning. There is a video of Willow birthing him and his siblings on our 2018 kidding page.

PROGENY
