Willow is amazing! She had quads again.

This is Moon’s 2nd freshening. She gave birth in the night and we missed it. All things looked good in the morning. I was surprised to see 3 little ones.
This is Georgia’s 3rd freshening. We missed seeing the births by just a few minutes. But, as far as I could tell she did great and had no problems afterwards.
All the kids have been dam raised. They are already great foragers. They also receive lots of human interaction and are learning to trust us.
2020 marks my 10th year logging and photographing birds during the Great Backyard Bird Count. 10 years! A decade! 10 times I’ve gone out in search of feathered friends on this same weekend in February. Maybe that officially marks me as a #birdnerd ❤
This was the 9th year in a row I’ve logged & photographed birds for the Great Backyard Bird Count.
Thankfully another uneventful kidding season. All the mamas did great. Our farm gained 7 bucks and 5 does. ❤
Wander is pretty fabulous. He’s friendly and he’s beautiful. I love his roaning. There is a video of Willow birthing him and his siblings on our 2018 kidding page.
Betty was born on our farm …so of course I have an extra soft spot for her. You can see her being born in the video on our 2018 kidding page.
